Hi all,

I am struggling with photo uploads.

So, quick story - my first bike was a Honda Mini Trail 50 in the 60's. You know my age group. Last bike up to now was an '81 Kawasaki GPz 550 - sold it in late 90s. A friend convinced me to do a National Park Grand Circle (GC, Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, MV, back) from Phoenix on rental bikes (for me, '22 F 750 GS) in May - BMW luggage, etc.. What a trip. Have to have another bike. BMW offers to good to pass up - a '23 F 850 GS on the way. Interested in others in the Houston area to get the heck out of town, either day trips or weekends, or are there folks here that pack up the bikes and send to good locations and fly out / back with bikes returned. Other than the bike coming, I am a car enthusiast - '99 BMW MCoupe (Clownshoe), three Mini's - (two track day cars), '97 Miata NA.

cheers,

Steve

Steve,

You need to be a bit more specific ... are the image sizes too large, is the bottom left paperclip icon not working, what is the struggle?

Welcome aboard.

I had a Honda SS 50 in those days. Now I cruse pavement with a 1250RT. Trails on a Husky 901. Guys are pretty good about posting up coming rides so keep your eyes peeled.

So, long story short...the great deal purchase on a low seat height F 850 GS finally arrived. I did the paper work and consummated the deal in early June. Great price, 0% APR from BMW finance, ZERO money out of pocket. TTL, shipping all included. Much lower than MSRP with with all included. That's all good. Bike finally arrived in mid August. Much angst before that.. I still do not have paperwork on registration and license, which was all included in price. Not clear to me when resolved. I have a new bike in the garage which I cannot drive. So, perhaps moral of the story, a good deal on paper is a good deal on paper...caveat emptor.... Steve
