I checked a few months ago. Wild West refused to work on my 2005 K1200S because it was more than 10 years old. So no dealer in the Houston area services older bikes. And since MPH cycles moved to Hempstead, I don't know of a good place in the Houston area to get older BMWs serviced.

I wish BMW would urge dealers of its bikes to service what they sell. BMW motorcycles are certainly built to last more than 10 years, and customers should not be turned away when their BMWs need service.

Of the three authorized BMW shops, only Wild West "might" work on bikes more than 10 years old.

Does anyone have good experience with a shop or person in Houston that does service on BMW /2?

I have a very good 1968 but it is difficult of get started.
