Joe R emailed me this about his Covid virus situation:
"Tested positive for the Chinese virus on July 18th.
I have been banned from the house.
Currently living in garage where I have nurse Ratchet deliver two meals a day. It’s really not all that bad. I have a deep freeze full of ice cream and a “man fridge” full of beer, a basket full of spy novels, the internet and my two wheeled friends.
Having time to contemplate our current situation I’ve realized that “bike lives matter”!
As a side note for anyone too young or maybe from another country, Joe's reference to "Nurse Rached" is from the 1975 movie "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", a cult classic. I had forgotten that Louise Fletcher won an Oscar for her role as Nurse Rached in the movie.
