Club - Meetup on Saturday at 9 am at Lupe Tortilla...
Author Last Post

Well, I wish I could be there, but I'm still in Alabama ... however, the riding here is great! And, for the record, I was tired of the scamdemic six months ago.

Let's try having a "meetup" on Saturday morning!

I have mixed feelings about this but there are different risks and effects between people and ages. Younger people (like younger than 60!) aren't as vulnerable and my sense is that people younger than like 40 or 30 are tired of this whole thing and don't care anymore. But people older than 60ish are at a higher risk and especially if they have any kind of additional condition (or have a spouse that is higher risk).

BUT - We can't continue to do nothing! We have to live our lives and interact and work and ride motorcycles. And I'm afraid if some of us don't do something with the club and our motorcycles the whole thing will collapse and disappear like so many businesses are now. So I am taking a tentative first step...

Let's meet at Lupe Tortilla's on Hwy 290 at 9 am. Google Map Link This is a little different from our past meetups at the dealerships so let's see how it works. We can meet in the parking lot (in the back, north side) and hang out for a bit. Fernando has talked with the manager there and they have a separate meeting room inside with large tables so we can sit every other seat and try to have some distance.

This will work nicely for people from Cy-Fair, Cypress, maybe The Woodlands, Katy, and Sugar Land. It will be a bit of a ride for people to the south and further north. But the advantage is if you want to go for a ride you can just head out 290 and you are in the country. We'll go south side next time.

There will be no meeting, no agenda, and no presentation. Just hanging out and catching up. If you are new to the club come meet some new friends. Any bike is welcome. If you would rather ride than eat stop by and say hi on your way out of town.

Hope to see you there!
